Park Sung Hoon will reportedly be the male lead of the upcoming K-drama The Tyrant's Chef

On December 2, media outlets reported that Park Sung Hoon will be joining Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah in the upcoming web novel-based fantasy K-drama The Tyrant's Chef

Park Sung Hoon's agency BH Entertainment hasn't responded to the casting reports. 

If the brilliant actor decides to join the series, this will be his first upcoming K-drama for next year. 

Before the year ends, Park Sung Hoon will join the much anticipated Netflix original K-drama Squid Game Season 2 alongside  Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, Park Gyu Young, Gong Yoo, Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Yang Dong Geun, Jo Yu Ri, Noh Jae Won, Won Ji An, Kim Shi Eun, BIGBANG's T.O.P, David Lee, Lee Jin Wook, Kang Ae Shim, and more.

2024 has been a busy year for the actor. He was part of the K-dramas The Bequeathed and Queen of Tears.  

Park Sung Hoon will also join the cast of the upcoming movie Night Fever and will work with Woo Do Hwan, Jang Dong Gun, Lee Hye Ri, Kim Min Seok, and Kim Min

The Tyrant's Chef will reveal the story of a chef who time-traveled to the past while she was at the peak of her career. She meets the worst King who is a great gourmet. The story will be depicted from the web novel of the same name by  Park Kook Jae. 

Director Jang Tae Yoo will helm the upcoming K-drama. The director is known for his works Knight Flower, Lovers of the Red Sky, Hyena, My Love from the Star, 101st Proposal, and more. 

Im Yoon Ah will reportedly play the role of the chef who will time travel and meet the King. Meanwhile, Park Sung Hoon got the offer to star as the worst King who is also known for being an amazing gourmet. 

The Tyrant's Chef will reportedly premiere on tvN in 2025.
