Kim Jung Young confirmed to appear in "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon"
After two years, Golden Child's Choi Bo Min might finally return to acting.
Several media outlets reported on March 17 that Choi Bo Min will be joining Park Ji Hoo and Jo Joon Young in the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama Spirit Fingers.
Choi Bo Min's agency Woolim Entertainment then gave their statement regarding the news. The agency confirmed that Choi Bo Min did receive the offer to star in the upcoming K-drama. According to the agency, the idol actor is currently reviewing the series positively
The Golden Child member had a break from acting for two years. He last starred in the 2021 web drama Shadow Beauty with Shim Dal Gi, Lee Na Gyung, Heo Jung Hee, Yang Hong Seok, and Baek Ji Hye.
Since 2017, Choi Bo Min has been appearing in several K-dramas. He was part of the series 20th Century Boy and Girl, A-Teen Season 2, Melting Me Softly, Crash! Insignificant Roommates, Twenty-Twenty, 18 Again, and more.
If Choi Bo Min confirms his casting, this will also be his first individual activity after he made his hiatus back in September due to a facial fracture. Choi Bo Min is now active in all Golden Child activities.
Spirit Fingers will base its story on the popular webtoon of the same name by Han Kyoung Chal. It will tell the high-teen romance of a shy high school girl who will come out of her comfort zone to share her voice and find what she likes.
The upcoming K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes and it will reportedly premiere within the year.
Choi Bo Min got the offer to play the role of Koo Sun Ho. He is the vice chairman of Spirit Finger, a group of unique people in the upcoming K-drama.
