The film Unofficial Operation has released its first trailer.
Unofficial Operation follows the story of a diplomat who left for Lebanon to rescue a missing colleague and a local taxi driver pairing up with him on his mission.
Giving a glimpse into the movie, the teaser trailer showcases the journey of Min Joon (Ha Jung Woo), a South Korean diplomat, as he courageously ventures alone into Lebanon to save his kidnapped colleague. Min Joon, an expert in Middle Eastern affairs, embarks on this mission without official support, relying solely on his wits and determination.
Along the way, he encounters Pan Su (Joo Ji Hoon), a street-smart taxi driver with a penchant for scams. Their paths intertwine, leading to unexpected alliances and thrilling adventures.
From the moment Min Joon sets foot in Lebanon, he finds himself pursued by airport security guards who covet the money he carries. Desperately evading a hail of bullets, he finds refuge in Pan Su's taxi.
United by their Korean heritage, Min Joon implores Pan Su for assistance, saying, "Please, help me just this once, Pan Su hyung (brother)". In another scene, Pan Su advises Min Joon, "Here, you don’t have to worry about not trusting anyone".
The intriguing scenes leave viewers curious as to whether Min Joon and Pan Su can truly rely on each other and successfully execute their unofficial operation.
As the pursuit intensifies, with airport security guards and a dangerous gang relentlessly hot on their trail, the tension escalates.
