Jung Yi Rang to work alongside Super Junior's Choi Si Won and Jung In Sun in "DNA Lovers"
Han Seok Kyu is returning to the small screen with "Maybe A Little Spicy Today."
On March 22nd Han Seok Kyu confirmed his appearance in the upcoming watcha original drama "Maybe A Little Spicy Today."
"Maybe A Little Spicy Today" will be directed by Lee Ho Jae ("SORI: Voice from the Heart"). The series will be produced by Ace Maker Movie Works who's known for producing the drama "Nevertheless."
The upcoming series will tell the story of a once-married couple. The drama will revolve around the husband who cooks for his terminally ill wife. His wife got diagnosed with colon cancer after they got divorced. "Maybe A Little Spicy Today" will be based on a novel with the same name.
Han Seok Kyu will play the role of the husband who will be there for his ex-wife as she is nearing the end of her life due to illness.
The wife will reportedly be played by actress Kim Seo Hyung.
"Maybe A Little Spicy Today" will be out within this year and it will exclusively be available on watcha.
Han Seok Kyu will be very busy this year. He is set to appear in three dramas in 2022. First, he will join the upcoming drama "When the Day Breaks" with Jung Yu Mi, Yeom Hye Ran, Kim Joon Han, Ryu Hye Young, and Lee Hee Joon. Then, he will appear in "Maybe A Little Spicy Today." Reports also stated that "Dr. Romantic 3" will also return this year.
The actor last appeared in the 2020 drama "Dr. Romantic 2" as the famous Kim Sabu. He worked with Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Joo Heon, Shin Dong Wook, and So Ju Yeon. For the third season, Han Seok Kyu will possibly reunite with Ahn Hyo Seop.
