TWICE's Kim Da Hyun confirmed to make her acting debut!
Hong Jong Hyun will be making a special appearance in the upcoming tvN K-drama Player Season 2.
On July 19th, multiple broadcasting officials shared that Hong Jong Hyun will be making a cameo appearance in the new season of Player.
Hong Jong Hyun will work closely with Oh Yeon Seo's character in his special appearance.
Player Season 2 will showcase the journey of the best players in different fields such as scammers, hackers, fighters, drivers, and more to find and steal money that was illegally obtained by the rich.
The upcoming new season will be led by Song Seung Heon, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Si Eon, fromis 9's Jang Gyu Ri, and Tae Won Seok.
It will be the new work of director Go Jae Hyun who's known for helming the K-dramas Café Minamdang, Crime Puzzle, Dinner Mate, Black, Syndrome, and more.
The first season of Player aired in 2018. It was led by Song Seung Heon, Lee Si Eon, Tae Won Seok, and f(x)'s Krystal Jung. For the new season, Oh Yeon Seo and Jang Gyu Ri will replace Krystal Jung as the female lead in the upcoming K-drama.
Player 2 is set to premiere in 2024. The upcoming K-drama will be broadcasted exclusively on tvN.
This will be the follow-up project of Hong Jong Hyun after his recent K-drama Race. The actor worked alongside Lee Yun Hee, Moon So Ri, TVXQ's U-Know, Kim Ye Eun, and Jun.Q in the Disney+ series.
Hong Jong Hyun made his acting debut in 2008. Since then, he has appeared in various K-dramas such as Oh! My Lady, Jungle Fish 2, Warrior Baek Dong Soo, Vampire Idol, Wild Romance, Jeon Woo Chi, Dating Agency: Cyrano, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, My Absolute Boyfriend, Stock Struck, and more.
