Jung Yi Rang to work alongside Super Junior's Choi Si Won and Jung In Sun in "DNA Lovers"
Hwang In Youp and Jung Chae Yeon were both offered lead roles in the upcoming K-drama A Prefabricated Family (tentative title).
According to multiple reports on April 19, Hwang In Youp and Jung Chae Yeon have been picked as the protagonists of the upcoming K-drama A Prefabricated Family.
A Prefabricated Family will adapt its story from the popular Chinese drama titled Go Ahead. It will reveal the story of three men and women who relied on each other during their teenage years. They share the same wounds and scars they received from their parents. The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of writer Kim Si Young.
The original series from China aired back in 2020 and it became the bridge of the main leads to stardom. This series is not only popular in China but also attracted fans in Korea.
If Hwang In Youp decides to join the new K-drama, this will be his first upcoming project for the year. In 2022, the trending actor starred in the series The Sound of Magic and Why Her?
Hwang In Youp continuously grew his acting career by appearing in different kinds of genres. He made his acting debut in 2018 and has starred in several K-dramas such as The Tale of Nokdu, 18 Again, True Beauty, and more. 
Just like Hwang In Youp, this upcoming K-drama will possibly be Jung Chae Yeon's first series for 2023. She last starred in the 2022 K-drama The Golden Spoon and worked alongside BTOB's Yook Sung Jae, Lee Jong Won, former Momoland member Yeonwoo, Choi Dae Chul, and Han Chae Ah.
Jung Chae Yeon made her acting debut in 2015. She is a member of the K-pop group DIA but currently, she's more focused on her acting career. She has appeared in several K-dramas such as Drinking Solo, Reunited Worlds, Marry Me Now, My First First Love, The King's Affection, and more.
There is no official confirmation yet on the broadcast channel and release date of the Korean remake.
