Disney+ confirms that the upcoming K-drama Hyper Knife starring Sol Kyung Gu, Park Eun Bin, Yoon Chan Young, and Park Byung Eun will premiere next year.
On August 12, Disney+ announced that the upcoming medical thriller K-drama will premiere in the first half of 2025.
Hyper Knife will showcase the story and connection of two crazy geniuses. One is a genius doctor working in an illegal surgery clinic. The other is her teacher, the world's leading neurosurgeon who caused her downfall.
Director Kim Jung Hyun (Crazy Love and My Fellow Citizens!) and writer Kim Sun Hee (Man Who Dies to Live and Night Watchman's Journal) will work together for the upcoming Disney original K-drama. Dongpung and Vlad Studios will produce the upcoming series.
Hyper Knife will begin to air on Disney+ in the first half of 2025.
Park Eun Bin will give life to the role of Jung Se Ok. She is an extraordinary genius doctor but because of an incident, she now lives as a shadow doctor who works in an illegal surgery clinic.
Sol Kyung Gu will be Choi Deok Hee in the series. He caused the downfall of Park Eun Bin's character Jung Se Ok. Choi Deok Hee is known as the world's best neurosurgeon. He is also the only mentor of Jung Se Ok while starting her medical career.
Park Byung Eun will portray the role of Han Hyun Ho, who helps Jung Se Ok with her illegal surgeries. He is an anesthesiologist who admires Jung Se Ok's skills. He helps her continue with her surgeries despite it being illegal.
Yoon Chan Young on the other hand will portray the role of Seo Young Joo. He will act as a guardian who is always there and protects Jung Se Ok.
