Jeong Ji So will be added to the star-studded cast of the upcoming KBS series "Curtain Call."
On May 26th, it was confirmed that Jeong Ji So will be joining the upcoming KBS drama "Curtain Call." The series will be directed by Yoon Sang Ho ("River Where the Moon Rises") and written by Jo Seong Geol.
"Curtain Call" will be about a North Korean woman who is about to die and a theatre actor who will pretend to be her grandson. The theatre actor will fulfill the North Korean woman's last wish.
Jeong Ji So will join the main leads Kang Ha Neul, Youn Yuh Jung, Jung Hae In, Ha Ji Won, Sung Dong Il, Ji Seung Hyun, Hwang Woo Seul Hye, and more.
The actress will play the role of Seo Yoon Hee, an unknown actress and also a colleague of Kang Ha Neul's character Yoo Jae Hoon. She enjoys life the way she wants.
"Curtain Call" will premiere in the second half of 2022. It will have 16 episodes and will be available on KBS.
This will be the second upcoming drama of Jeong Ji So. She will also join the upcoming drama "The Cursed: Season 2" with Uhm Ji Won. Jeong Ji So will also be part of the upcoming film "Holy Night: Demon Hunters" with Ma Dong Seok, Seo Hyun, David Lee, Kyung Soo Jin, and Cha Woo Jin.
Jeong Ji So made her acting debut in 2012. She has starred in several notable works such as "Parasite," "The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey," "May Queen," "It Was Love," "Hyde, Jekyll, Me," "Splendid Politics," "The Cursed," and more.
Last year, Jeong Ji So was busy with several projects. She was part of two dramas such as "Imitation" and "Doom at Your Service." She was also included in the film "The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey."
