No Sang Bo confirmed to star in the Disney+ original K-drama "Uncle Samsik"
Ji Chang Wook will possibly return to the big screen with top actress Jeon Do Yeon.
According to several industry insiders, Ji Chang Wook has been picked to lead the upcoming movie Revolver. Jeon Do Yeon received the offer first and she is currently reviewing it.
Ji Chang Wook's agency Glorious Entertainment responded to the casting reports, according to them, the actor did receive the offer and he is currently considering it. Nothing has been decided yet.
On the same day, Glorious Entertainment also announced that their contract with Ji Chang Wook already ended and the actor is currently a free agent. There is no news yet on which agency will be the new home for Ji Chang Wook.
Meanwhile, the actor is currently filming for the upcoming Disney+ K-drama The Worst of Evil with Wi Ha Joon, Im Se Mi, Im Sung Jae, BIBI, and Geum Kwang San.
Aside from this, he will also lead the upcoming romance K-drama Welcome to Samdalri with Shin Hye Sun.
Ji Chang Wook last appeared on the big screen last 2021 with the movie Hard Hit.
Last year, Ji Chang Wook became busy with two K-dramas The Sound of Magic and If You Wish Upon Me. He also participated in the entertainment program Young Actors' Retreat together with his co-stars in The Sound of Magic.
Revolver will tell the story of a former police officer who is firm with his purpose and goal. The upcoming movie will be directed by Oh Seung Uk who also helmed the films The Shameless and Kilimanjaro. The movie will be produced by Men Pictures.
Jeon Do Yeon will reportedly play the role of the former police officer.
Many are already anticipating the possible chemistry between Ji Chang Wook and Jeon Do Yeon.
