Park Hae Soo in talks to reunite with Jeon Do Yeon in a new thriller mystery K-drama
Jin Ki Joo will possibly join the upcoming movie "The Land Of Happiness" starring Lee Sun Kyun, Jo Jung Suk, and Yoo Jae Myung
Several media outlets reported on August 17th that Jin Ki Joo is joining the upcoming movie directed by Choo Chang Min ("Masquerade" and "Seven Years of Night").
"The Land Of Happiness" will be a collaboration between Papas Film and Oscar 10 Studio. The movie will be distributed by NEW. The production will reportedly start this coming September. The movie will depict the journey of a lawyer who's struggling to defend a figure caught up in an incident that shook modern history.
Lee Sun Kyun will play the role of the upright soldier at the center of a case that shook modern history. Jo Jung Suk will play the character of Jung In Hoon, the lawyer who will do his best to defend the upright soldier. Yoo Jae Myung will also play the role of a soldier. He will be the key figure in the case and he's against the soldier and the lawyer.
Jin Ki Joo will reportedly play the role of Jo Jung Suk character's girlfriend. According to reports, the actress decided to star in the movie with her faith and trust in director Choo Chang Min, other casts, and crew.
The premiere date of "The Land Of Happiness" is yet to be revealed.
Jin Ki Joo last starred in the 2021 movie "Midnight" with Wi Ha Joon, Kim Hye Yoon, Park Hoon, Kil Hae Yeon, Song Yoo Hyun, and more. She was also part of the controversial drama "Joseon Exorcist" that was cancelled because of several issues.
The actress is set to appear in the 2022 drama "Showtime Begins!" together with actor Park Hae Jin.
