Lee Joo Bin confirms her next work after "Queen of Tears"
Kang So Ra will reportedly return to acting after giving birth to her first child.
On February 23rd several media outlets reported that Kang So Ra has been chosen as the main lead of the upcoming series "Can We Be Strangers." This will be her possible reunion with director Son Jae Gon.
Kang So Ra's agency Plum A&C shared their side through the media outlet Dispatch. The agency revealed that Kang So Ra is still reviewing all the offers for her return. Nothing has been decided yet.
"Can We Be Strangers" will be the new work of director Son Jae Gon. The upcoming series will be produced by West World Story, the ones who are also responsible for "Tracer." The upcoming series is also under discussion to premiere on an OTT platform.
If Kang So Ra confirms her casting, this will be her reunion with the director after two years. Kang So Ra and director Son Jae Gon have worked together for the movie "Secret Zoo." This film was also Kang So Ra's last official project before she tied the knot and got pregnant.
Kang So Ra was also in the headlines today for being the new muse of a clothing brand. She recently released a new profile picture as well on her personal social media account. This signals that the actress will be officially returning to the industry.
In August 2020, Kang So Ra announced that she is getting married to her non-showbiz boyfriend. In April last year, the actress gave birth to her firstborn daughter and has been resting and focusing on childcare.
