"Dear.M" most likely will not air on KBS in the first half of the year. 

On March 16, media outlet Star News reported that it will be difficult for the drama "Dear.M" to be aired in the first half of 2021 on KBS with the current situation. 

"Dear.M" was originally  scheduled to air on February 26 but due to main lead Park Hye Soo's controversy, the premiere of the drama was postponed. Early this week, KBS also announced that the supposed time slot of "Dear.M" will be occupied by the drama "Imitation" starring U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young, T-ara’s Park Ji Yeon, former I.O.I and PRISTIN member Im Na Young

"Imitation" was originally supposed to air after Dear.M's completion but because of the recent controversy, they will premiere ahead of schedule and the first episode will begin on May 7. 

Park Hye Soo who is the female lead of "Dear.M" was involved in school bullying controversy in February. After this news broke out, the public immediately sided with the alleged victim of Park Hye Soo. Park Hye Soo on the other hand, denied all the allegations through her agency. There are petitions on KBS website to not air "Dear.M" because of the issue. KBS responded to Park Hye Soo's controversy by delaying the premiere of the drama for now to thoroughly examine the issue. 

"Dear.M" consists of casts Park Hye Soo, NCT's Jeong Jae Hyun, Roh Jeong Eui, and UP10TION Lee Jin Hyuk, and more. The drama is directed by Park Jin Woo and Seo Joo Wan, who were in charge of the the 2020 webtoon based drama "Love Revolution". The script is written by Lee Seul who's famous for being the screenwriter of several seasons of web drama "Love Playlist".
