Kim Hyun Joo will lead the upcoming SBS drama "Trolley."
On April 1st Kim Hyun Joo's agency IOK Company shared that the actress will be joining the upcoming SBS drama "Trolley."
"Trolley" will be helmed by director Kim Moon Kyo and the script will be written by Ryu Bo Ri ("Do You Like Brahms?").
The upcoming series will revolve around a lawmaker's wife who hides a secret past. The drama will reveal the hardships couples face as their secret gets revealed to the nation.
Kim Hyun Joo will possibly work with Park Hee Soon who first got the offer to play the male lead. Kim Hyun Joo got the offer to play the role of Kim Hye Joo, the hidden wife of a member of the National Assembly. She is also a book repair owner. Park Hee Son got the offer to play the role of Jung Do, a lawmaker at the National Assembly.
The drama will unfold when Kim Hye Joo got involved in a series of incidents that made his identity exposed to the nation. Her secret of being the wife of an assemblyman will be revealed and several conflicts will arise.
"Trolley" will start filming soon. The drama will reportedly premiere in the second half of the year.
This will be the first drama project of Kim Hyun Joo for the year. In 2021, the actress has been busy with two dramas such as "Hellbound" and "Undercover."
Kim Hyun Joo is also set to star in the upcoming movie titled "JUNG_E." She will work alongside Kang Soo Yeon and Ryu Kyung Soo. The film will be released on Netflix.
The actress is known for being part of the dramas "I Have a Lover," "What Happens to My Family?," "Boys Over Flowers," "Marrying a Millionaire," "Glass Slippers," and more.
