JYJ's Kim Jae Joong might finally star in a drama after four years!
Media outlets shared on July 2nd that idol actor Kim Jae Joong has been cast as the main lead for the upcoming drama "Bad Memory Eraser."
Kim Jae Joong's agency C-JeS Entertainment gave their statement about the reports, stating that the actor is considering to star in the upcoming drama but nothing has been decided yet.
"Bad Memory Eraser" will be written by Jung Eun Young. It will depict the romance of a man whose life has changed because of a memory eraser and a woman who holds his destiny.
The "Bad Memory Eraser" is currently in the process of casting. The airing date and broadcast station are still undecided.
Kim Jae Joong last appeared in a drama in 2017. He was the main lead for the drama "Manhole" with After School's Uee, Jung Hye Sung, B1A4's Baro, Seo Young, Ri Min, and more. If the idol actor accepts the offer to star in "Bad Memory Eraser," this will be his first acting project in four years. Kim Jae Joong is also in talks to lead the upcoming drama "Invisible Man."
Aside from actively promoting as an idol, he was also part of several dramas. He was in the dramas such as "SPY" with Go Sung Hee and Bae Jong Ok, "Triangle" with Lee Bum Soo and ZE:A's Im Shi Wan, "Protect the Boss" with Choi Kang Hee and Ji Sung, and more.
In 2020, Kim Jae Joong was criticized for using COVID-19 as a joke in April Fools Day. Since then, the idol actor has not been as active on activities. This drama might be his possible comeback project.
