Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Actor Kim Jae Young is in discussion to be the male lead of the upcoming tvN drama "MonWedFriTuesThursSat."
Several Korean news outlets shared on March 8th that Kim Jae Young will be the next leading man of top actress Park Min Young in the upcoming drama "MonWedFriTuesThursSat."
Kim Jae Young's agency HB Entertainment shared their side on the circulating reports. The agency stated that Kim Jae Young did receive the offer to lead the drama and he is positively considering the offer.
Park Min Young first got the offer to star in the drama and her agency shared that the actress is also positively reviewing it. The actress is known for having top actors as her leading man. She has worked with Lee Min Ho, Ji Chang Wook, Park Seo Joon, and now with Song Kang. Many are already anticipating who's the next actor that will be paired up with romance drama queen, Park Min Young.
"MonWedFriTuesThursSat" will showcase the story of a helper who provides services to those men who need a pretend wife to accompany them on social gatherings like alumni, reunions, etc.
Aside from Kim Jae Young, actor Yoo Yeon Seok also received the offer to join the romance drama.
There is no official announcement yet on the airing date of " "MonWedFriTuesThursSat."
Kim Jae Young started as a model and then made his acting debut in 2011. He starred in several dramas such as "Blade Man," "Hello Monster," "Yong Pal," "My Secret Romance," "Black," "100 Days My Prince," and more. He also appeared in movies such as "No Breathing," "Derailed," "Golden Slumber," and "Money."
Last year, Kim Jae Young participated in the JTBC drama "Reflection of You" with Go Hyun Jung, Shin Hyun Bin, Choi Won Young, Kim Bo Yun, and Shin Dong Wook.
If Kim Jae Young confirms his casting for "MonWedFriTuesThursSat," this will be his first project for 2022.
