Kim Ji Hoon is in discussions to lead the upcoming Netflix original movie titled "Ballerina."
On April 25th, media outlet Top Star News reported that the actor is going to be the male lead in the upcoming film.
Kim Ji Hoon's agency Big Picture Entertainment responded to the reports and informed the media outlet that the actor is positively considering the offer to lead the film 'Ballerina." The actor is carefully reviewing the offer.
"Ballerina" will be the next film of director Lee Chung Hyun ("The Call" and "Bargain"). The female lead role was also offered to actress Jeon Jong Seo.
Once Kim Ji Hoon and Jeon Jong Seo confirm their casting, this will be their next project together after "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area."
The upcoming film will be produced by Climax Studio Co. Ltd., the same producer of "Concrete Utopia," "Soul Mate," and "The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey."
"Ballerina" is set to begin filming this June.
If Kim Ji Hoon confirms his casting, this will be his return to movies after five years. He last starred in the 2017 film "The Age of Blood" with Lee Won Jong, Jo Jae Yoon, Jung Hae In, Jung Ji Hoon, and Ryu Tae Joon.
The actor is also set to star in the upcoming dramas "Love To Hate You" and the Korean remake "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" with Yoo Ji Tae, Jeon Jong Seo, Park Hae Soo, Lee Won Jong, and Jang Yoon Ju.
Kim Ji Hoon was last seen in the 2020 series "Flower of Evil" with Lee Joon Gi, Moon Chae Won, Seo Hyun Woo, Nam Ki Ae, Son Jong Hak, and more. This drama made him more known and opened several doors for him.
