Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Kim Kang Woo is in discussion to join the upcoming K-drama Wonderful World.
On April 28, media outlets reported that Kim Kang Woo will be joining Kim Nam Joo in the heart-wrenching K-drama Wonderful World.
Kim Kang Woo's agency IOK Company responded to the reports and stated that Wonderful World is one of the projects that was offered to him and he is still reviewing the series.
Wonderful World will tell the story of a heroine who lost her young son and will take her revenge against the perpetrator who has been forgiven by the law.
Kim Kang Woo got the offer to play the role of Kim Nam Joo's character's husband. He was a former reporter from a major broadcasting station but now he works as an anchor for a cable broadcasting station that has little viewership.
There are still no official decisions on the broadcast station and release date of the upcoming K-drama Wonderful World.
This will be the second upcoming K-drama of Kim Kang Woo. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming series Snowy Sun which is set in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Aside from K-dramas, Kim Kang Woo will also join the upcoming movies Tyrant and The Childe.
Kim Kang Woo last starred in the 2021 K-drama Artificial City together with Park Soo Ae, Kim Mi Sook, Lee Yi Dam, Lee Hak Joo, and Kim Young Jae.
He is known for being part of the works Woman of 9.9 Billion, Item, My Husband Oh Jak Doo, Good-bye, Mr. Black, Missing Noir M, Red Eyes, Guimoon: The Lightless Door, Recalled, New Year Blues, High Society, The Taste of Money, Tazza 1: The High Rollers, A Better Tomorrow, and more.
