Kim Min Kyu will work closely with Lee Young Ae in the upcoming tvN K-drama Maestra: Strings of Truth.
On November 10, it was officially confirmed that Kim Min Kyu will portray as Lee Young Ae's assistant in the upcoming music thriller K-drama.
Maestra: Strings of Truth is the Korean remake of the French TV series Philharmonia which was released in 2019. The K-drama will reveal the life and journey of the famous female conductor Maestra who is hiding a secret. It will also showcase the mysterious happenings surrounding the orchestra. Maestra will look for the truth revolving around these cases.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Lee Young Ae, Lee Moo Saeng, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, Kim Young Jae, Park Ho San, and Yang Jun Mo.
Kim Min Kyu will give life to the character named Kim Tae Ho. He is a longtime fan of Cha Se Eum, Lee Young Ae's character. He then became the secretary of Cha Se Eum and he is diligent with his work.
The weekend K-drama will be the next work of directors Kim Jung Kwon (Love to Hate You and Ditto) and Choi Yi Yoon (Love Tractor).
Maestra: Strings of Truth will officially premiere on December 9 at 9:20 PM KST. The series will consist of 12 episodes and it will exclusively air on tvN and TVING.
This will be the first time that Kim Min Kyu will be working with a top actress since debut.
Kim Min Kyu made his acting debut in 2020. He has starred in various K-dramas such as Backstreet Rookie, Pop Out Boy!, Lonely Enough to Love, Idol: The Coup, and more.
Last year Kim Min Kyu was part of the Netflix original K-drama The Fabulous led by Chae Soo Bin, Choi Min Ho, Lee Sang Woon, Park Hee Jung, Shin Dong Mi, and Lee Mi Do.
