Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Kim Nam Gil might star in another drama this year!
According to several reports released on May 4th, the upcoming SBS crime thriller drama "Inside Criminal Minds" will have Kim Nam Gil as its main lead. The upcoming series will be based from the original book by Kwon Il Yong and Go Namu.
If Kim Nam Gil is confirmed to join the drama, he will play the character of Kwon Il Yong, the number one profiler in Korea. He will play as a profiler of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's criminal behavior analysis team who can easily know people's intentions with just his strong gaze.
"Inside Criminal Minds" will be written by Seol Na Na and it will premiere on SBS.
Last February, it was confirmed that Kim Nam Gil, Seo Ye Ji, and Astro's Cha Eun Woo will star in the 20 billion Korean won (approximately $17 million) drama project titled "Island: Season 1" which is said to air in the second half of the year. The upcoming drama will have 20 episodes but was postponed due to several circumstances. Since then, Seo Ye Ji decided to drop the drama. The production team also stated that they will postpone the filming into the second half of the year in order to improve the project.
Kim Nam Gil is set to return in the upcoming sequel of the popular series "The Fiery Priest." As for films, the actor will also take part in other projects namely "Joseon Firefighter," "Emergency Declaration,” and "Gwiseon.”
