Ji Sung Reveals His K-Drama "Connection" Conveys a Message About Drug Crimes
On the morning of May 22, a press conference was held for The Childe in Seoul. The event was attended by director Park Hoon Jung and actors Kim Seon Ho, Kang Tae Joo, Kim Kang Woo, and Go Ah Ra.
Before commencing the event, actor Kim Seon Ho apologized for his recent controversy, stating, "I am truly sorry for causing concerns due to my personal matters".
Kim Sun Ho faced a controversy involving his former girlfriend immediately after the conclusion of the drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha in October 2021.
At that time, the actor had to step down from many planned projects, but his agreement to be cast in The Childe remained unchanged. Director Park stated, "If I said I wasn’t worried, it would be a lie". He added, "There was no alternative to casting Kim Seon Ho. Now that I think about it, it was a good decision (to stick with Kim Seon Ho)".
Kim Seon Ho expressed gratitude to Director Park several times during the press conference.
The actor practically suspended his activities after the controversy. Now, he is making a comeback with the movie The Childe, which also marks his big-screen debut. 
In the upcoming thriller The Childe, Kim Seon Ho will be seen playing the role of Gwi Gong Ya/Childe, a pursuer who unleashes chaos into the life of Marco (Kang Tae Joo) - a struggling boxer who comes from the Philippines to South Korea to find his father.
The movie will hit the cinema screens on June 21.
