In the new JTBC weekend drama King the Land (written by Choi Rom and directed by Im Hyun Wook), which airs on the comprehensive channel JTBC at 10:30 PM on the 17th, Lee Jun Ho plays Koo Won, the successor of a king group, who shakes up the company by disguising himself as an undercover intern.
Hiding his identity as the son of Gu Il Hoon (played by Son Byung Ho), Koo Won enters the king group as an intern and bewilders the employees with his unconventional attitude and behavior. From being in a crisis of lateness due to a ridiculous mistake to approaching the unfamiliar corporate culture and work environment in his way, he leaves a strong first impression.
In the released photos, Koo Won, despite being an intern, appears calm and nonchalant throughout the day. Even when his colleague No Sang Sik (played by Ahn Se Ha) handles an item emitting black smoke and causes a commotion, Koo Won simply stands with crossed arms without any signs of surprise. Furthermore, he freezes the office with unusual actions, such as casually rebuking his superior's words.
His fellow trainee No Sang Sik is the only one extending a helping hand to Koo Won, who is marked as a problematic intern from his first day at work. Amid various incidents, Koo Won forms a close bond with No Sang Sik and gradually adapts to life in Korea while learning how to survive in the workplace.
