Cho Yi Hyun will reportedly lead a new SBS webtoon based K-drama
Koo Kyo Hwan will be leading another movie titled "War of the New Humanity: Resurrection Man."
On April 11th Lotte Entertainment, the distributor of the upcoming movie "War of the New Humanity: Resurrection Man" shared that Koo Kyo Hwan will be the main lead of the film.
"War of the New Humanity: Resurrection Man" is an action blockbuster movie that will be based on a webtoon with the same name. The story will unfold when a man who was killed was able to resurrect and be alive again after three days. The film will be directed by Baek Jong Yeol ("The Beauty Inside").
Koo Kyo Hwan will play the role named Seok Hwan, a job seeker who will know more about his secrets after he accidentally dies while living an ordinary life and got the ability to resurrect after three days.
According to Lotte Entertainment, the movie will officially begin its full-fledged production next year after completing the major castings.
The release date of "War of the New Humanity: Resurrection Man" is not yet revealed.
Koo Kyo Hwan will add another project to his long list of upcoming dramas and movies. Before he starred in "War of the New Humanity: Resurrection Man," he will first appear in the soon-to-air drama "Monstrous" with Shin Hyun Bin, Kwak Dong Yeon, Nam Da Reum, Park Ho San, and Kim Ji Young. He will also return to the second season of "D.P. Season 2." He will be working with actor Jung Hae In once again.
Aside from "War of the New Humanity: Resurrection Man," Koo Kyo Hwan is also set to star in the upcoming films "Kill Bok Soon" and "Escape."
Last year, the actor was also busy starring in different projects. He was part of the hit movie and drama "Escape from Mogadishu" and "D.P." He also made a cameo in the special episode of "Kingdom: Season 2" titled "Kingdom: Ashin of the North."
