Jung Yi Rang to work alongside Super Junior's Choi Si Won and Jung In Sun in "DNA Lovers"
Lee Jin Hyuk and Nam Kyu Hee confirmed to work alongside Girl's Day Bang Min Ah and Kwon Hwa Woon in "Please Check Out The Event"
On May 12th, it was announced that Lee Jin Hyuk, Nam Kyu Hee, Kim Young Sun, and Kim Hee Chang have been cast in MBC's new drama "Please Check Out The Event." The drama is scheduled to air during the second half of the year.
"Please Check Out The Event" is a four part series to be helmed by Kim Ji Hoon and Lee Han Joon. The script will be written by Kim Tae Joo. The story will unfold as a former couple pretends to still be together just so that they can avail the couples-only vacation they have won from an event.
Lee Jin Hyuk, Nam Kyu Hee, Kim Young Sun, and Kim Hee Chang will be part of the couples-only vacation and they will travel to Jeju Island together with Bang Min Ah and Kwon Hwa Woon. Lee Jin Hyuk and Nam Kyu Hee will play the role of a couple Youtuber. Lee Jin Hyuk is a street dancer named Song Jong Ho while Nam Kyu Hee will play the role of Noh Hyo Jung who majored in dance and ballet.
Lee Jin Hyuk made is acting debut through the 2020 drama "Find Me in Your Memory" with main leads Kim Dong Wook, Moon Ga Young, Kim Seul Gi, and more. He was also part of the drama "Hanging On" with Jung Sang Hoon and Lee Hyun Yi. The idol-actor was also set to appear in the 2021 drama "Dear.M" with Park Hye Soo, NCT's Jeong Jae Hyun, Roh Jeong Eui, and Bae Hyun Sung, but the release was postponed due to the female lead's controversy. "Please Check Out The Event" will be Lee Jin Hyuk's first official drama project for 2021.
Meanwhile, Nam Kyu Hee is a rookie actress who made her debut through the webtoon based drama "Love Revolution" starring Park Ji Hoon, Lee Ruby, Kim Young Hoon, and more.
"Please Check Out The Event" will air its first season on the second half of 2021.
