Na Chul will be joining Red Velvet's  Joy, Choo Young Woo, and Baek Sung Chul in the upcoming Daum KakaoTV original series "Once Upon a Small Town."

Based on the web novel of the same name, "Once Upon a Small Town" will tell the story of the people in the Heedong Village, police officer Ahn Ja Young, a native of the village, and veterinarian Han Ji Yul who's already in Seoul but has to go back to the village. 

The drama will be helmed by director Kwon Seok Jang ("Bossam: Steal the Fate," "Avengers Social Club," and "Pasta"). 

Na Chul will bring life to Choi Yoon Hyung, a veterinarian, and owner of an animal hospital in Seoul. He is the closest senior of Han Ji Yool, played by Choo Young Woo. He also runs his own YouTube channel and aims to be the best among any other veterinarians. 

Other casts of the series include Ha Yul Ri, Jung Suk Yong, Baek Ji Won, Park Jee A, Jung Shi Yool, Yoo Yeon, Park Ye Ni, and Noh Jae Won.

 "Once Upon a Small Town" will start airing on September 5th and until September 28th. The drama will have a total of 12 episodes with 40 minutes duration each. 

Na Chul started the year by appearing in the dramas "Through the Darkness" and "A Superior Day." "Once Upon a Small Town" will be his next drama for the second half of 2022. 

He also starred in the drama special "tvN O'PENing: How to Distinguish Voices." 

The actor made his acting debut in the drama 2012 "Jeon Woo Chi." He got his first ever supporting role in 2016's "Entourage." 

He is known for being part of the dramas "Touch Your Heart," "Vincenzo," "Hospital Playlist 2," "D.P.," "Jirisan," "Happiness," and more.
