Namkoong Min will reportedly lead the upcoming JTBC drama "Sacred Divorce."
On February 7th several media outlets reported that Namkoong Min has been chosen to lead the upcoming JTBC series "Sacred Divorce."
Namkoong Min's agency 935 Entertainment confirmed that the actor did receive the offer to star in the upcoming drama. According to the agency, Namkoong Min is currently reviewing it and it is one of the proposed works of the actor.
"Sacred Divorce" will be based on a webtoon of the same name. The upcoming drama will tell the story of a 45-year-old divorce lawyer who also helps solve the problem of other families. The drama will be penned by writer Yoo Young Ah ("Thirty-Nine" and "Kim Ji Young: Born 1982.")
Namkoong Min received the offer to play the role of lawyer Shin Sung Han. He was born into a decent family. Because of an incident that happened to him, Shin Sung Han passes his bar exam at the age of 39. He is currently a divorce specialist lawyer.
The actor has been receiving several drama and movie offers since last year. Many are already anticipating the next project of the renowned actor.
"Sacred Divorce" will reportedly air in 2023 and it will exclusively air on JTBC.
Namkoong Min previously starred in the 2021 drama "The Veil" with Park Ha Sun, Kim Ji Eun, Jang Young Nam, Kim Jong Tae, and Kim Do Hyun. This is the second drama that gave him the grand prize award (Daesang).
Aside from "Sacred Divorce," he will also reportedly join the upcoming dramas "One Thousand Won Lawyer" and "Doctor Prisoner 2."
The renowned actor has starred in several hit dramas such as "Hot Stove League," "Doctor Prisoner," "Good Manager," and more.
