The Price of Confession is a story about the bloody chronicle of two women surrounding a murder case.
Jeon Do Yeon will take on the role of Ahn Yoon Soo, who struggles to clear her name after being falsely accused of her husband's murder. Yoon Soo, who once dreamed of small happiness with her family, sees her life crumble after her husband's death.
The role of the mysterious woman, Mo Eun, who comes before Ahn Yoon Soo, will be played by Kim Go Eun. Known as a witch among the prisoners for her ability to see through others and easily grasp their psyches, Mo Eun secretly approaches the desolate Yoon Soo. Curiosity arises about why Mo Eun approaches her and how Yoon Soo's life will change.
Park Hae Soo will portray Baek Dong Hoon, a prosecutor known for his steadfastness and unwavering convictions no matter which case. He is a skilled man who is acknowledged by his colleagues for his diligence. He stakes his convictions and honor to uncover the secrets of Yoon Soo and Mo Eun.
Jin Seon Kyu will transform into Jang Jeong Gu, Yoon Soo's defense attorney. As a former boxer, he approaches every case with an unyielding determination, starting his pursuit of truth to prove Yoon Soo's innocence.
