"The Glory" actress Park Ji Ah passes away at age of 52
Rising actress Oh Ye Ju is confirmed to star in the upcoming Disney+ original K-drama Gangnam B-Side.
On September 30, it was officially confirmed that actress Oh Ye Ju will be part of the cast of the upcoming action thriller K-drama, Gangnam B-Side. She will portray as main lead Jo Woo Jin's daughter in the series.
This will be her first official K-drama project for 2024. She recently made a special cameo appearance in the tvN K-drama No Gain, No Love.
Early this year, the actress made her debut on the big screen through the movie Troll Factory. She worked alongside Son Suk Ku, Kim Sung Cheol, Kim Dong Hwi, Hong Kyung, Lee Seon Hee, and Kim Hee Won.
Oh Ye Ju made her acting debut in 2021. She is known for being part of the K-dramas The Matchmakers, Under the Queen's Umbrella, From Now On, Showtime!, and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
Gangnam B-Side will follow a thrilling chase involving detectives, prosecutors, and mysterious brokers as they hunt for a missing employee of a renowned Gangnam bar. This employee holds the key to solving a series of disappearances happening in the area.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Jo Woo Jin, Ji Chang Wook, Ha Yoon Kyung, BIBI, Hyun Bong Sik, and Jeong Jae Kwang.
Oh Ye Ju will portray the role of Kang Ye Seo. She will be the daughter of Jo Woo Jin's character Detective Kang Dong U in the play. As the detective's only child, her character will bring a personal and emotional touch to the story.
Director Park Noo Ri (Money) and writer Jo Won Gyu (Argon) will work together for the upcoming series. Sanai Pictures, PlusM Entertainment, and Story Rooftop will produce the K-drama.
Gangnam B-Side will premiere on November 6 and it will exclusively air on Disney+.
