Ong Seong Wu will possibly lead the upcoming OCN drama "Blind."

On November 30th, media outlet Sports World shared that Ong Seong Wu has been selected to be the main lead of the upcoming drama "Blind" which is slated to air next year. 

Ong Seong Wu's agency Fantagio responded to the reports and stated that "Blind" is one of the proposed projects to the idol-actor and nothing has been confirmed yet.

"Blind" is a drama about victims and perpetrators who are falsely accused. It will revolve around detectives, judges, law school students, and more. 

Ong Seong Wu got the offer to play the role of Ryu Sung Joon. He is a detective in the powerful team who has dreamt of punishing evil and saving the world just like in the hero movies. Whenever an incident occurs, he always sympathizes with the victim.

 Other broadcasting details for the upcoming drama "Blind" haven't been revealed yet. 

Ong Seong Wu is currently starring in the KakaoTV drama "Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?" with Park Ho San, Seo Young Hee, Choo Ye Jin, Song Jae Ryong, Kim Ye Eun, and more. He will also join the upcoming reunion performance of his former k-pop group Wanna One happening on December 11 at 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

The idol-actor is also set to debut on the big screen with the upcoming movies "Operation Seoul National University," "Life is Beautiful," and "Jung Family's Farm."

Ong Seong Wu made his debut as a singer in 2017 through the survival MNET program "Produce 101 Season 2." 2 years later, he finally debuted as an actor and appeared in several dramas. He was part of the series "Moment at Eighteen," "More Than Friends," and more.
