Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will be seen together on one screen once again!
After six years, Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will be reuniting for the upcoming series Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon. According to industry insiders, the two will be making a special appearance in the new work of the Strong Woman Do Bong Soon writer.
JTBC then confirmed on March 30 that Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik would be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming K-drama Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon. The network also shared that filming for their cameo scene is already completed.
Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik were the main leads of the hit 2017 K-drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. The K-drama was well-loved as it was the first female hero in Korean dramas. Because of this, the upcoming series Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will expand that worldview and will showcase the story of another female with superhuman strength.
In 2023, Park Bo Young will finally return to K-dramas. She was last seen in the 2021 series Doom at Your Service. The top actress is set to lead the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Daily Dose of Sunshine with Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Dong Yoon, Lee Jung Eun, Lee Sang Hee, and Yoo In Soo.
Meanwhile, Park Hyung Sik is currently starring in the tvN K-drama Our Blooming Youth. He will also star in the upcoming K-drama Doctor Slump and will reunite with Park Shin Hye.
The upcoming K-drama Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will tell the story of three generations of mother and daughter born with supernatural strength. They will work together to unveil the drug crimes centered in Gangnam.
This will be the next work of writer Baek Mi Kyung ( Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) and director Kim Jung Shik (Work Later, Drink Now).
Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will be led by Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Suk, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, and Park Young Tak.
The upcoming K-drama will premiere in the first half of the year. It will exclusively air on JTBC.
