Park Eun Bin has officially picked her next K-drama project.
On February 9, it was officially confirmed that Park Eun Bin will be leading the upcoming K-drama "Diva of the Deserted Island." She will be working alongside director Oh Choong Hwan and writer Park Hye Ryun who made the K-dramas "Start-Up" and "While You Were Sleeping."
Last December, several reports circulated that Park Eun Bin will be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama. The actress' agency then clarified that it is still under discussion. After almost two months, Park Eun Bin officially confirmed her casting.
"Diva of the Deserted Island" will tell the story of a woman who got stranded on a deserted island while dreaming of becoming a diva and heading to audition in Seoul. She will challenge herself once again after 15 years when she finally got rescued.
Park Eun Bin will give life to the role named Seo Mok Ha. She got stranded on a deserted island as she goes to Seoul for an audition. 15 years later, she finally got rescued and decided to continue her dream of becoming a diva.
The actress shared her thoughts on her casting. She said, "I will prepare and come back well for the upcoming K-drama."
Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin will possibly work with Chae Jong Hyeop in the upcoming K-drama. Last month, it was reported that the actor will be the male lead of the series. Chae Jong Hyeop hasn't confirmed his casting yet.
"Diva of the Deserted Island" will begin filming in the first half of 2023. There are no official dates yet for the premiere of the upcoming K-drama.
Many anticipated the next move of Park Eun Bin after her success with the ENA K-drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo." Just like what is expected of Park Eun Bin, she is taking another challenge with a different character in the new K-drama.
Last year, after she wrapped up with "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," the actress embarked on an Asian tour for her fan meeting. She was also seen with several new endorsements proving her popularity.
