Choi Sung Eun will reportedly lead a webtoon based K-drama by "The Cursed" director
The upcoming historical K-drama "Our Blooming Youth" confirmed its main cast.
It was officially confirmed on December 27th that Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee will be the main leads of the upcoming tvN series "Our Blooming Youth." They will also be joined by supporting leads Pyo Ye Jin, Yoon Jong Seok, and Lee Tae Sun in the upcoming series.
"Our Blooming Youth" is a mystery historical drama that will be directed by Lee Jong Jae ("100 Days My Prince" and "Psychopath Diary") and written by Jung Hyun Jung ("Lovestruck in the City," "Because It's the First Time," and "Romance Is a Bonus Book").
The upcoming series will tell the story of a prince who's suffering from a curse and a woman who is accused of a murder of a family. The prince will help the woman to be clear of charges in exchange for her helping him free from the curse.
"Our Blooming Youth" will be part of tvN's Monday and Tuesday drama timeslot. The K-drama will premiere on February 6th, 2023, at 8:50 PM KST. The upcoming series will have a total of 20 episodes.
Park Hyung Sik will portray the character named Lee Hwan. He is a lonely prince with a mysterious curse. Jeon So Nee will play the role of Min Jae Yi. She is a genius girl who will find out the truth when she is falsely accused of murdering her relatives.
Meanwhile, supporting characters will be played by Pyo Ye Jin as Garam, the only reliable friend of Min Jae Yi, and Yoon Jong Seok will play as Han Seong On, the friend of the prince and the marriage partner of Min Jae Yi. Lastly, Lee Tae Sun will play the role of Kim Myung Jin, the brainy one in Joseon who studies everything in the world.
