Park Joo Mi will reportedly lead a new drama written by Im Sung Han.
On October 18th, media outlets reported that Park Joo Mi will be reuniting with writer Im Sung Han for the upcoming drama "The Fairy Durian" (literal translation).
"The Fairy Durian" is a time-slip fantasy melodrama and will be produced by Barunso Studio. The drama will be directed by Shin Woo Chul ("Secret Garden" and "Lovers in Paris" and written by Im Sung Han ("Apgujeong Midnight Sun and "Princess Aurora").
If Park Joo Mi confirms her casting, this will be her reunion with writer Im Sung Han. They have worked together for the three seasons of "Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)."
According to reports, actor Kim Min Joon is also in talks to join the drama as the main lead. Kim Min Joo has also worked with the director through the series "Lovers in Prague."
There are no other details yet on the broadcast channel and date of the upcoming series "The Fairy Durian."
This will possibly be the comeback drama of Park Joo Mi after the three seasons of "Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)." For the past two years, the actress focused on only appearing in the hit drama. She worked alongside Lee Ga Ryeong, Jeon Soo Kyung, Jeon Noh Min, Lee Tae Gon, Sung Hoon, Lee Min Young, Kang Shin Hyo, Ji Young San, and more.
