The upcoming tvN K-drama Parole Officer, Lee Han Shin is confirmed to air this year.
On August 27, it was officially announced that the K-drama starring Go Soo, Girls Generation's Kwon Yu Ri, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Hak Joo will air in October exclusively on tvN.
Parole Officer, Lee Han Shin will tell the story of a lawyer who became a parole officer for revenge. He became the final judge and decide whether prisoners will be paroled or not.
Director Yoon Sang Ho (Curtain Call, River Where the Moon Rises, and Saimdang, Light’s Diary) will work alongside writer Park Chi Hyung for the upcoming K-drama. It will be produced by CJ ENM, Studio Genie, and Kotap Media.
Parole Officer, Lee Han Shin will be part of tvN's Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot. It will have a total of 12 episodes.
Go Soo will portray the role of Lee Han Shin, the lawyer who became a parole officer. He will use his own ways to go against inmates who are trying to abuse the parole system with their money and power.
Kwon Yu Ri will portray the role of Ahn Seo Yoon. She is one of the best detectives in the Violent Crime Investigation Unit. She is passionate about her job and has excellent insight and strong responsibility.
Baek Ji Won will work closely with Go Soo's character Lee Han Shin. The actress will portray the role of Choi Hwa Ran. She is a legend in the private loan industry. She will do her best to help Lee Han Shin get back his stolen money.
Lastly, Lee Hak Joo will portray the role of JI Myung Seob. He is a second-generation conglomerate who does not care about others.
