Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Rising young actor Ryeoun will be one of the main leads of the upcoming drama "The Borrowed Body."
On March 8th media outlet Star News reported that Ryeoun will be added to the cast of the upcoming Daum KakaoTV original series titled "The Borrowed Body." He will be joining actor Nam Yoon Su. The series will be produced by Studio 329.
"The Borrowed Body" will be based on a webtoon with the same name by Park Se Gye. It will be a fantasy mystery romance series that will revolve around Lee Sang Woo and Gi Da Rim. Lee Sang Woo is an outsider. He was falsely accused of something and every student hated him. Gi Da Rim on the other hand is the popular and insider of the school. Because of an incident, their body will be swapped. The drama is set at a private institute with first-year high school students.
Ryeoun will play the role of Yoon Ho Young. He is a handsome and popular student who's also good at playing soccer. Nam Yoon Su on the other hand will play the role of Lee Sang Woo, the center of the scandalous rumor.
"The Borrowed Body" will be released in the first half of the year. It will exclusively air on Kakao TV. The drama will have 15 episodes with 20 minutes duration each.
Ryeoun is currently starring in the hit SBS drama "Through the Darkness" with Kim Nam Gil and Jin Seon Kyu.
Last year, the actor gained lots of fans for appearing on the TVING drama "Adult Trainee" with Jo Yoo Jung.
Ryeoun made his acting debut in 2017. He has starred in the dramas "Temperature of Love," "Doctor Prisoner," "Homemade Love Story," "18 Again," and more.
