On November 13, media outlets revealed that the Reply 1988 lovers Ryu Joon Yeol and Lee Hye Ri are no longer in a romantic relationship.
Ryu Joon Yeol's agency CJES Studio and Lee Hye Ri's agency Creative Group ING both confirmed that the two are no longer dating.
The two met in 2015 through the hit tvN K-drama Reply 1988. They worked as childhood friends in the series. The story showcased how the two almost became lovers in the series. Some fans of the K-drama were also saddened that Ryu Joon Yeol was not Lee Hye Ri's endgame in the series.
In 2017, Ryu Joon Yeol and Lee Hye Ri made everyone happy when they officially confirmed to the public that they were in a romantic relationship. The two became one of the K-drama couples that were supported by many.
In previous years, there were rumors that the two had broken up but the rumors stopped after Ryu Joon Yeol and Lee Hye Ri were spotted together in one public place.

Meanwhile, Ryu Joon Yeol will return to the K-drama land with Money Game after two years. He will be working with Chun Woo Hee, Park Jung Min, Park Hae Joon, Bae Sung Woo, Moon Jung Hee, and more.

Lee Hye Ri on the other hand will return to the big screen with the upcoming movie Victory with Park Se Wan, Jo Aram, Choi Ji Su, Baek So Hyun, and Kwon Yoo Na. Lee Hye Ri was last seen in the 2022 K-drama May I Help You.
