Disney+ original series Moving released character stills of actor Ryu Seung Ryong, who plays the role of Jang Joo Won.
In the series, Jang Joo Won is the father of Jang Hee Soo (Go Youn Jung) and a superhuman with regenerative ability. Although having endured a dark and troubled past, and been labeled a "monster" due to his powers, his meeting with his wife, Hwang Ji Hee (Kwak Sun Young), and senior black agent, Kim Doo Shik (Zo In Sung), gives him a new life. However, the two people who changed Jang Joo Won's life suddenly disappear, leaving only his daughter Jang Hee Soo (Go Youn Jung) by his side.
The released character stills vividly showcase the stark contrast between the ever-cheerful father, supporting his daughter, and his dark and gloomy past.
When asked about his motivation for choosing Moving, Ryu Seung Rong responded, "There was no reason not to", and added, "I felt extremely excited and thrilled while reading the script".
He particularly mentioned the scene where he cried out after losing his family, saying, "I felt the challenge and excitement that I could pour my entire acting life into that scene".
Furthermore, the production team praised Ryu Seung Ryong as the most dedicated and hard-working actor. Kang Full, the original creator of the webtoon and the drama's screenwriter said, "You've endured all kinds of hardships", giving him a thumbs up. Martial arts director Ryu Sung Cheol also commended Ryu Seung Ryong for his proactive attitude, stating, "Thanks to him, we were able to craft a diverse range of action sequences", as the actor suggested new ideas.
Actress Go Youn Jung, who plays the role of Jang Hee Soo, Joo Won's daughter, said, "He was like a real father", and shared an anecdote about his thoughtfulness when he sent a coffee truck to the set during her filming.
Moving is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 9, with a simultaneous release of seven episodes worldwide, followed by a weekly release of two episodes.
