On the 19th, distributor Plus M Entertainment announced that Target is confirmed for release on August 30th.

The film is a suspense thriller that delves into the daily life of Soo Hyun, who buys a secondhand washing machine online, making her the latest target of some warped vigilante. Target garners attention for its combination of the realistic theme of secondhand transactions, modern society trends, and the thriller genre. The unfolding of events after Soo Hyun becomes a target of crime due to a single purchase made presents a story that could happen to anyone.

In addition, Shin Hye Sun's dense portrayal of the ordinary office worker character, Soo Hyun, complements the suspense, enhancing the allure of the thriller genre while creating a sense of immersion that makes viewers think, "This could happen to me too."

Furthermore, Detective Joo, who is part of the Cyber Investigation Unit and investigates the secondhand transaction crime to the end, is played by Kim Sung Kyun, an actor with a versatile presence. At the same time, Kang Tae Oh portrays Detective Na, Joo's junior, adding weight and tension to the film.
Along with the release news, the unveiled launching poster captures attention with its unique concept symbolized by a delivery box reminiscent of secondhand transactions.

The package was delivered, it was a torn box tape with striking red text saying, "Today, I had a secondhand transaction with a murderer," and traces of blood grab one's gaze. The launching poster adds an unknown tension surrounding the contents of the box obtained through a secondhand transaction with a murderer, heightening the suspense for the events that will unfold in Soo Hyun's everyday life as a target of crime and raising expectations for the film.
