Season 2 and 3 of Netflix's "Squid Game" to be released sequentially
Son Hyun Joo and Kim Myung Min will join hands to lead the upcoming thriller crime K-drama Your Honor.
On May 22, Genie TV officially confirmed that brilliant actors Son Hyun Joo and Kim Myung Min will be the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Your Honor. The series will be the follow-up K-drama of Crash and it will premiere every Monday and Tuesday.
Your Honor will depict its story from the Israeli TV series Kvodo and the American remake Your Honor. It will showcase the confrontation between two fathers who decide to be evil for the sake of their children. The story will revolve around a criminal organization and a judge who helps the citizens seek justice.
Director Pyo Min Soo who is also known for creating the works The Producers, Heartstrings, The World That They Live In, and Full House will helm the upcoming K-drama. Writer Kim Jae Hwan who penned Boyhood will also work on the upcoming series.
Aside from Son Hyun Joo and Kim Myung Min, actors Kim Do Hoon, Yoon Chan Young, Jung Eun Chae, and Heo Nam Ju will also join the upcoming K-drama.
Your Honor will exclusively air on ENA, Genie TV, and Genie TV Mobile broadcast channels. It will premiere this summer.
In the series, Son Hyun Joo will portray the character named Song Pan Ho. He is a respected judge and he is also known for his warm personality. He is a person who lives a successful life without any anomalies.
This will be the second K-drama of Son Hyun Joo for the year. Early this year, the actor also participated in the historical K-drama Captivating the King with Jo Jung Suk and Shin Sae Kyeong.
Kim Myung Min on the other hand will portray the role of Kim Kang Heon. He is the boss of the criminal organization. He is known for his brutal and cold-hearted personality. Despite his scary charisma, he is affectionate to his son.
This will be the comeback of Kim Myung Min to the K-drama scene after three years. He last starred in the hit series Law School. The actor will also join the upcoming K-drama Double Spy.
