Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee Reportedly Step Down from the Upcoming K-drama "The Price of Confession"
The much-anticipated partnership of Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee in one K-drama will possibly not push through.
On May 17, media outlets reported that Song Hye Kyo, Han So Hee, and director Shim Na Yeon have decided to not continue working on the upcoming K-drama The Price of Confession. Reports stated that Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee had a little disagreement with the production team and the two decided to not star in the new K-drama. With this, the director also decided to not work on it.
Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee's agency UAA and 9ATO Entertainment then responded to the circulating reports. Both agencies shared that it is difficult to confirm the reports of their artist officially declining the upcoming K-drama.
The production company of The Price of Confession, Production H, also did not make an official statement regarding the circulating reports of Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee leaving the K-drama.
The Price of Confession gained attention after it was announced that the two lookalikes Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee will be working together in one K-drama. People got more excited after Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee have been very public with their affection for each other.
There is no official confirmation yet whether the upcoming K-drama will be canceled or the production team will find new stars and directors for it.
The Price of Confession was supposed to be the next K-drama project after her successful Netflix original series The Glory Part 2. If Song Hye Kyo officially declines the upcoming K-drama, we'll have to wait again for news of her joining another series.
Meanwhile, we can still see Han So Hee this year through the upcoming K-drama Gyeongseong Creature. She will be working alongside Park Seo Joon, Kim Su Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, Jo Han Chul, and Wi Ha Joon. The Netflix original K-drama will have a total of 10 episodes and it will premiere within the year. A second season will also air in 2024.
