"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" Sequel "Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon" Drops 1st Teaser

The long-awaited Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon is set to premiere on October 7th. 

Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon is a crime-comedy drama about three extraordinary women with superhuman strength, who unravel the mysteries behind a drug-related crime unfolding in Gangnam. 

Six years after Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, which opened new doors for K-female superhero stories, the Strong Woman series returns to expand its universe. The series has garnered substantial attention even during its production phase, all thanks to the collaboration between Baek Mi Kyung, the trailblazing writer behind the inception of female superhero stories in Korean dramas, and director Kim Jung Shik. The ensemble cast includes Lee You Mi, Kim Jung Eun, and Kim Hae Sook. Joining the actresses are the equally talented actors Ong Seong Wu, Byeon Woo Seok, Lee Seung Joon, and Park Young Tak. 

In light of this, the release of the first teaser has stirred excitement among fans. It gives a glimpse of the exceptional strength of the three unrivaled women in action. Kang Nam Soon (Lee You Mi) - Do Bong Soon's 6th cousin - comes to protect Gangnam, and just like Bong Soon, she possesses a strong sense of justice. She emphatically proclaims, "I'm here! Did you wait for a long time?". Her ability to effortlessly take down any opponent while keeping an innocent smile is a testament to her dynamic nature.

Even the auras of Kang Nam Soon's mother, Hwang Geum Joo (Kim Jung Eun), and her mother, Gil Joong Gan (Kim Hae Sook), also bestowed with immense strength, are attention-demanding. The comedic crime-solving adventure of the three generations of strong women - a grandmother, and her daughter and granddaughter - sparks curiosity about the unfolding storyline.
