"The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival Season 2" Drops Teaser

The sequel to The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival, The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival Season 2, scheduled to air in 2024, dropped a teaser depicting a dramatic shift in the narrative.  

Season 1 portrayed villains who stop at nothing for personal gain, unexpected plot developments, and mind-boggling twists that intensified the thrill of the genre.

Above all, Season 1 concluded with a twist, flipping the game board with the coming of a new community of evil.

This special teaser teases a more spectacular revenge battle. Despite having an opportunity to repent, the villains opt for desire due to the irresistible temptation of Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon).  

A voiceover hints that Mathew Lee is not an opponent who can be dealt with. This juxtaposed with the return of Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon), hints at a perfectly reversed scenario. 

In a world where lies are believed to be truths, Matthew Lee's unrestrained evil actions leave one wondering how far it will go. 

As the villains, having lost the last chance for forgiveness by choosing Matthew Lee, continue to bite and tear at each other, the tension escalates.

Moreover, the mysterious figure Medusa approaching Min Do Hyuk and offering a secret partnership piques curiosity.

As Min Do Hyuk's return sparks a new cycle of retribution, leading to a catastrophic end for the villains, the focus turns to how Matthew Lee will counter Min Do Hyuk's revenge.

SBS's The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival Season 2 will premiere sometime in 2024 and will air on Fridays and Saturdays.  Watch the teaser below.
