After conducting a test on Yoo Ah In for drug use, his home in Seoul was the next thing that the police investigated.
On March 7, media outlet Newsis revealed that the police officially executed the search and seizure of the two residences of actor Yoo Ah In including the one located in Hannam-dong, Seoul South Korea. The police took action because the actor is suspected of taking illegal drugs.
Last month, Yoo Ah In was at the center of the news for testing positive for marijuana and propofol. Just recently, the National Forensic Service also confirmed that cocaine and ketamine were also detected in Yoo Ah In's hair and urine.
It was also revealed that the actor has administered over 4,400 propofol or a total of 73 times in 2021. Police also believed that the actor used propofol more than a hundred times until last year.
Aside from the tests on the actor, the police also raided the hospitals that gave Yoo Ah In access to propofol. They investigated his medical records and more.
According to reports, Yoo Ah In will be summoned by the police as the suspect on March 14.
Yoo Ah In's side hasn't given their side regarding the reports of the actor's home being raided and summoned by the police.
Meanwhile, just last week MBC shared the side of some medical staff that administered Yoo Ah In with propofol. The staff shared that they warned the actor about excessive propofol use and for constantly changing hospitals so that he can get the medication.
Yoo Ah In's representative then responded to the reports and revealed that Yoo Ah In is suffering from a skin condition. Because of his fear of needles, he requested anesthesia for the treatments.
This statement was not well received by the public and it is just a weak justification for the misuse of propofol. Netizens also find it absurd that this excuse is valid for the other drugs that were found in his system.
