Uhm Ki Joon will join the cast of tvN's "Little Women"

Uhm Ki Joon will be joining the cast of the upcoming tvN drama "Little Women."

On April 29th, it was announced that Uhm Ki Joon will be joining the main leads  Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, Wi Ha Joon, Park Ji Hoo, and Uhm Ji Won in the upcoming female-centered drama. 

Uhm Ki Joon's agency Your Entertainment confirmed the reports that the actor will be part of "Little Women." 

"Little Women" will be the collaboration work of director Kim Hee Won ("Vincenzo" and "Money Flower") and writer Jung Seo Kyung ("The Handmaiden" and "Mother".)

The upcoming drama will tell the story of three sisters who grew up poor. The three will get involved in a major incident and they will have to go against the richest and most influential families in South Korea. 

Uhm Ki Joon will play the role of Park Jae Sang, a newbie politician. He will be the main pillar of the story as he gets involved in the major incident.

"Little Women" will premiere in the second half of 2022. 

This will be the first confirmed drama of Uhm Ki Joon for the year. The actor is also in talks to join the upcoming series "The Escape of Seven" by Penthouse director Joo Dong Min and writer Kim Soon Ok. 

Before he officially stars in a new drama, he will be supporting Yoon Jong Hoon by making a special cameo appearance on the tvN series "Sh**ting Stars." 

Uhm Ki Joon will also join the program "All Viewers+: Short Buster" with other "The Penthouse: War in Life" stars  Kim So Yeon, Lee Ji Ah, Yoon Jong Hoon, Shin Eun Kyung, and Bong Tae Kyu.

The actor last starred in the third season "The Penthouse 3: War in Life."
