Kim Seok Hun who is dubbed as the original handsome actor in the 1960s has passed away.

On May 29, it was belatedly revealed that the veteran actor passed away on May 28 at 1:46 PM KST. According to reports, the actor died because of old age. He was 94 years old. 

The mortuary of Kim Seok Hoon is located at the funeral hall of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. The actor's burial will be on May 30 at 1:20 PM KST. He will be cremated at the Seoul Memorial Park and his remains will be at the Honor Stone in Yongin.

Kim Seok Hun is a graduate of Cheongju Normal University. After graduating from the university, he started working as a secretary at the Seoul District Court. He then made his acting debut in 1958.

The veteran actor has starred in over 257 films. 

In 1958, Kim Seok Hoon became an actor through the movies Where Should We Go and The River of Temptation. He worked alongside Kang Mi Ae, Kim Dong Won, Lee Min Ja, Jeong Ae Ran, Kim Seung Ho, Noh Gyung Hui, and more. 

Since then, the veteran actor appeared non-stop in different films such as Three Women, Sister's Garden, Independence Association and Young Lee Seung Man, Romantic Papa, Iljimae the Chivalrous Robber, Country Bumpkin Oh Bok, My Dear Love, Don’t Cry!, Yong Pal in Deep Trouble, A Pair, The Family Pedigree, and more.

Before veteran actor Kim Seok Hyun retired, he joined the 1993 film A Sketch of a Rainy Day 2 and worked alongside Kim Myung Soo, Lee Kyung Young, Kim Ji Young, Park Sang Ah, Kim Suk Hoon, Ok So Ri, and more.
