Yoo Ji Tae and Lee Joon Hyuk will reportedly work together once again this time in a new film.

According to reports on July 25, Yoo Ji Tae and Lee Joon Hyuk will join the reported main lead Yoo Hae Jin in the upcoming historical film titled The Man Who Lives with The King. 

The Man Who Lives with The King is a historical film that is set after the 6th King of the Joseon Dynasty was exiled to Yeongwol, Gangwon Province. 

The upcoming film will be produced by BA Entertainment and distributed by Showbox. According to reports, the film will begin its filming after the pre-production and major casting are finalized. 

The upcoming movie will be the next work of director Jang Hang Joon who is known for creating the films Rebound, Forgotten, Spring Breeze, and more. 

This will be the first time that the director will work on a historical genre and this will also be the first time that Lee Joon Hyuk will star in a historical film. Many are already curious how the main leads known for their great acting, will work together to create an interesting film. 

If Yoo Ji Tae confirms his casting, this will be his grand comeback to the big screen. He was last seen in the 2019 film Money with Ryu Jun Yeol, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Jae Young, Kim Min Jae, and Jung Man Shik

This will also be his return to the historical genre after 17 years. He was last seen appearing in the historical movie The Legendary Courtesan Hwang Jin Yi.  

Meanwhile, this will also be the first time that Lee Joon Hyuk will officially take on a historical project. Aside from this upcoming film. Lee Joon Hyuk will also star in the upcoming K-dramas Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard, Acquaintances, and Mercy for None.

Last year, Yoo Ji Tae and Lee Joon Hyuk worked together for the Disney+ original K-drama Vigilante.
