Ra Mi Ran to make a special cameo appearance in "A Virtuous Business"
ZE: A's Yim Si Wan, Park Gyu Young, and Jo Woo Jin are confirmed to lead the upcoming movie Mantis.
On September 2, Netflix confirmed that the upcoming spin-off of Kill Bok Soon, Mantis will begin its production soon. They also confirmed that Yim Si Wan, Park Gyu Young, and Jo Woo Jin will be leading the new film.
Mantis will showcase the story of a killer, his rival, and their legendary face-off to see which one is the best. The main leads will play the roles of Han Ui, Jae I, and Dokgo. The upcoming film will be the spin-off of the 2023 film Kill Bok Soon which was led by Jeon Do Yeon, Sul Kyung Gu, Kim Shi Ah, Esom, Koo Kyo Hwan, Lee Yeon, and more.
Director Lee Tae Sung who participated in Kill Bok Soon as an assistant director will handle the upcoming film Mantis. This will be his first time to officially direct a movie. Director Byun Sung Hyun will also work with him in the upcoming film.
The release date of Mantis is still not revealed.
Yim Si Wan will portray the role of Han Ui, who returned to the murder contract industry after their rules were broken. This will be the first confirmed upcoming film of Yim Si Wan since the 2023 movie Boston 1947. The idol actor will also lead the upcoming K-drama Squid Game Season 2. Yim Si Wan and Park Gyu Young will first work together in the new season of Squid Game before they proceed to star in Mantis.
Park Gyu Young will give life to the character Jae I who will be Haneul's trainee colleague and rival. This will be the comeback of Park Gyu Young to films after almost 7 years. The actress will also join the new series Nine Puzzle and Nine Puzzle.
Jo Woo Jin will play the role of Dokgo, the retired legendary killer. This will be one of the upcoming films of Jo Woo Jin. The actor will also join the cast of the movies Harbin and Boss. He will also be part of the new K-dramas Gangnam B-Side, Knock Off, and The Good Man.
