I'm 100% sure it's going to be a happy ending, regardless of the novel/manhwa source.

Remember, the reason MM transmigrated into the novel was because she trashed the plot of the novel and the novel's ending.

Her exact words: "What's the difference between this ending and a scam?"

The story is self-aware, and therefore, I fully believe the writer wouldn't give us a "scam" ending.

It will be a satisfying ending. And it's not gonna be a sad one, because after all, the journey of ZQ accepting himself and falling in love with MM, the only ending that makes sense for him is for him to actually live out this newfound life with MM. And also for MM, after everything she will go through with ZQ, the only thing that makes sense is for them to have a HE.

I know bad endings could be satisfying for some other stories, but not on this story. Especially with the tone they've set up in the beginning.

So enjoy watching everyone! And let's all look forward to an ending that is not a scam.

I completely agree with you, I trust it will be a good ending for everyone

Not to mention the spoiler in the end credits where Ding Yuxi also plays the author of the book Miaomiao was reading.  This is a full pledge romcom. Let’s trust the process!!!

Yes! I was actually getting anxious when a clip from episode 25 where Miaomiao has forgotten her mission/herself outside of the character in the book but I remembered that yes, this is a fun drama! All will be well in the end. I will trust the scriptwriter since she had chosen to trash the crappy ending of the novel MM transmigrated into. She will not let us down with the actual ending of this series. *crosses fingers*

I feel like it's going to be a HE but also a little disappointing. I will cry if the ending is of MM and ZQ staring a each other across the room in the modern world.

My dream scenario is if the story of the book/game wraps a few episodes early with a HE and we get a at least 2 episodes in the end where Miaomiao meets Fu Zhou/ Ziqi in the real world and both of them remember everything from the game. And yes, I’m fully into the the theory that Fu Zhou also transmigrated into the game and is living as Ziqi ?‍↔️

This theory is looking more and more real as the show goes on. Pretty much the longer you stay in the novel world, the more you forget about reality and that's pretty much what's happening to MiaoMiao and what's already happened to Ziqi/Fu Zhou.

I cannot wait for their scenes at the modern world. I hope it's as you say that we at least get 1-2 episodes for them, not just last 5-10 minutes T.T

I think its also possible that Fu Zhou himself probably suffered from the kind of lack of confidence in people accepting him for who he is and that is why the book initially turned out the way it did. But when Miao Miao accurately  commented the harsh reality of the story, it the self aware story forced Fu Zhou and Miao Miao into it to help Fu Zhou, and hence ZiQi gain confidence and accept people's love for him.

Whether they stay in the novel or the "real world" doesn't matter to me - as long as they are happy together forever.

What credits? I only see something that looks like a videogame? Nothing that looks like what you described? No idea where to look, hence my confusion :D

it's not a short clip. it's literally just an ending credit where the actors' name is next to the character they play. it's in chinese characters so non chinese speakers like us only focuse on the pretty purple background ?

this is the twt/X link
