unbeliebubble:

WOW this is very promising. I am buying a ticket for this one hehehe

It would be quite interesting to watch these two playful and talented actors interact.

 fancy:

Doesn't CDL rarely do kiss scenes though? I haven't seen her do them a lot.

I was excited about LuSi not CDL. LOL

 Regina de Sá:

Santa Claus will give us a free weekend in that village, in addition to personalized gifts: whips, incense and Christmas cakes from the ML store! lololol

Wahhhhh. I dunno. I prefer pool houses LMAO. Seriously, I would like to see LuSi in a sexy role with him. Stretch her good girl image heh.

Yeah haha. But the lusi one sounds good too. Either way, I hope LXY keeps making costume dramas despite it being bad for his hairline allegedly.

For Xu Kai. Xukai needed hair transplant

I had a crying emoji not question marks... sigh. Hate that the emoji's never show up.

Yeah I remember that 😭😭 that's why I said that because it seems to be bad for everyone's hairline but I love him in costume dramas. I feel like they should find a way to have some of their real hair out or edges out so that their hairline isn't affected.

They used to do that in the old martial arts movie days. You could see they had only a slight wig and their natural hair was flattened on top.  But then came the days that martial heroes don't have muscles and must look like anime androgynous beings with flowing locks and big eyes and small mouths and TADA, you get our current batch of MLs loved by Chinese netizens. So, you see them wearing these unrealistic flowing weight of long Elven locks, and red lips of which Snow White would have been jealous, LOL. They're so skinny, their bones break easily (Leo) and if they get a tan, they get yelled at on the internet (Zhang LingHe).  I've been watching these changes for decades and it grows more fascinating the older I get, LOL.

The ending :

I wondered if a widower who becomes Emperor, can after his coronation bestow the title of Empress to his late wife.

Normally No. Because, for a title to be bestowed, the recipient must accept the decree read by the eunuch. Thus, if there is no wife, then there is no title.

The answer is  : Historically, the only posthumous title that can be bestowed is the title of Dowager. This title is bestowed by the new Emperor ( often the son of the late Emperor ).

So, a newly crowned widower can never bestow a title of Empress to his late wife. However, as a viewer pointed out , writers can do whatever they want in dramas, therefore a deceased Empress who cannot manage the Royale Household and thus the Royal Harem can exist in dramaland.

However, in "Kill Me Love Me" , the maids servants spoke about the late wife of the Emperor as the Empress. And the Emperor did not keep a harem. So historically, that situation would be accurate.

I was trying to understand the ending of a drama. Those directors are making the endings, more and more complex to let everybody free to believe whatever they want to. And often, that leads are dead. Because they LOVE sad endings. I wanted to know if the heroine survived.

Yes, she survived. But a lot of people think she died. *SMH*

Whereas she survived several years and it's a type of Happy Ending.

Mei Lin was alive after MRJH's coronation.
