Wanted to share an interesting explanation of the association between days of the week and colors in Thai culture. This is copied from this reddit post. I believe the og commenter was referencing this trailer (not the individual episode trailers).
"The color of the day you are born is considered a lucky color for you, and it seems like the main character of each episode was born on the day/color of their episode. It is a superstition/astrology thing: the colors/day/planet associated with your birthday are said to guide your character as you grow up.
Sunday: Red. Popular, wise, people turn to them for help. The main character is named Sun. The screens that introduce this ep say “Sunday: Likes a [sleazy] rich guy.”
Monday: Yellow. Smart, serious, careful. The main character is named Mon. The screens that introduce this ep say “Monday: Believes in true love.”
Tuesday: Pink. Active, reliable, stubborn. The main character is named Tue. The screens that introduce this ep say “Tuesday: Not willing to give in/surrender [to someone].”
Wednesday: Green. Ambitious, passionate, likes to be social. The main character is named Phoot (part of Thai word for Wednesday, วันพุธ [wan phoot]). The screens that introduce this ep say “Wednesday: Flirts with a lot of guys (kind of implies being a playboy, a womanizer…. but in this case a meninizer?)”
Thursday: Orange. Honest, hardworking. The main character is named Thurs. The screens that introduce this ep say “Thursday: Has a sixth sense/spiritual intuition.”
Friday: Light blue. Delicate, quiet, honest. The main character is named Sook (part of Thai word for Friday, วันศุกร์ [wan sook]). The screens that introduce this ep say “Friday: Stuck in the past.”
Saturday: Purple. Youthful, energetic, go-getter. The main character is named Sat. The screens that introduce this ep say “Saturday: Has been enchanted.” "
