Street/Public Music Performance - A: I do not know have not seen it and iit is not available in my country, is someone preforming on the street htna yes.

They're performing on a stage in front of a crowd, one is indoors and the other is outdoors at an event. Is this considered a public performance? Here's a trailer for this drama I found on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG7OBmjcaSQ where you can catch a glimpse of the performances I mentioned at 0:47 and 1:03. These are the performances I've come across so far in the first 4 eps of this drama.

These are not street performances in that video. They are concerts at concert venues. Street performances arent just public and outside, they take place on the street. Think buskers. Pop up performances. Flash mobs. Mimes. Etc.

 bitcoolKat:
City Hall - In dramas (or movies etc), if it's not mentioned in the captions as City Hall (or the other definitions you provided), it's not easy for me to tell if that place is the main administrative building of the city/town/village.  Is it possible to stretch this prompt to include civic offices because they're more commonplace? Or is there any example of what to look for? I'm really lost with this one.

Since i don't think everyone is familiar with what city halls look like in all other countries, we are willing to accept government offices. However... they do need to be their own building, not just a suite in a larger multi-purpose building.

 bitcoolKat:
Park - I came across an RV park which the FL visits for one night (she's evaluating it as a business to invest in), but she just returns home the next day without going anywhere else. They're shown to have some greenery in the RV park, along with themed cabins, a campfire, a stage etc.

In another drama, the high school version of the leads are shown sitting on swings in a kid's playground. Does this count?

As the place your describing offers more amenities than just a place to park one's RV, it sounds like it could qualify.

And yes, an outdoor community playground does typically count as a park, as they are often situated within a park.

@AthenaTheStorierX  Thank you! I'll try to find something that qualifies as City Hall, fingers crossed!

In Block 13 "Food Cart/Truck" means:
A)  "Food Cart" or "Food Truck"
B) "Food Cart" or (any kind of) "Truck"
? 🙂

A

Thank you for all the answers so far.

Here's another question:
Regarding "Bomb dropped" in block 25 - do only military bombs dropped from airplanes count here?

...or do the following count here as well:

  1. There's somebody carrying the bomb (like Improvised Explosive Device - IED) and they drop it (by accident or because they've been shot).
  2. Somebody reveals something that is very surprising or unexpected (shocking or startling news) to somebody else (following definition of the idiom "drop a bomb") .

City Hall -  In K and C-dramas I've often seen people go to some kind of government office to register their marriages and divorces. Is that City Hall?

A: In local government, a city hall, town hall, civic centre (in the UK or Australia), guildhall, or municipal building (in the Philippines) is the chief administrative building of a city, town, or other municipality.

If they do it in the main administrative building of the city/town/village then yes if is just a civic office where marriage can be registered probably no. so it depends, Edit: But we will probably go with it just make sure you spot hte actual building.

Hi, does the magistrate’s office in historical cdramas count as a city hall?

Athletic  Arena - Does it have to be something like a stadium/tennis court/basketball field etc? Does a wrestling competiton in a dirt/sandy field (with a banner, referee and audience) in a rural setting also count?

The Double, theater assassination scene in Ep 14 - does that play/opera that the  ML is watching count as a "Traditional Performance" ?

Yes, but again you have to see the building that has to be only for city officals

So, I think it doesn’t work for the drama I was planning to use.
The protagonist is the magistrate, but he only appears judging cases. Like in this case here.

Hello my dears,

I'm thinking about maybe participating this year the MDL Challenge. But It's a bit overwhelming. 😅

I don't know if I understand using bonus prompts in exchange for a prompt which I want to avoid correctly... For example:

I want to avoid the prompt "Drama with 2 seasons or more" in Block No. 1.  Then I could exchange it with a prompt from the bonus prompts which are listed under Districts.

In the "Art Disctrict" I can make up my own prompts. So for example I make up the prompt "Drama from the Genre Fantasy".  Therefore I could exchange this one with the "Drama with 2 seasons or more", i.e.:

Prompt "Drama with 2 seasons or more" ( from Block No. 1)

<=> in exchange with <=>

Bonus Prompt thought up myself "Drama from the Genre Fantasy" (from the Art Disctrict)

 Would this be correct? 🙂

Thank you!

So seems to be the case

An arena is a place where sports and other events are hosted for an audience. It’s built for an audience, meaning that there are built-in seats of some sort, and a field/stage of some sort. So it depends on the set up.

if the type of play/opera is a traditional art form of a culture, then yes.

We’re willing to accept those interpretations of the phrase.  Just add a note pls.

 Shiro:
Yes,

Hi Shiro, thank you for your answer! 🤗 That's great!

In addition to my previous post I've another question, if I understand it right:

Would it be possible to make up myself five prompts (from the Art District) and exchange them with five prompts from five arbitrarily Blocks? For example exchange them with the prompts "Mentioned in a game" (Block 2), "Festival/Faire" (Block 12), "Signage" (Block 17), "Bridge" (Block 21) and "Athletic arena" (Block 22) ?

Thank you! 😃
